Fitness Center
 
Daily Hours:
4:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.              
 
The Fitness Center, updated in February 2019, features 6 treadmills, 6 ellipticals, 3 stationary bikes, strength equipment, mats, medicine balls and kettle bells. 
         
The Fitness Center is for residents only, with a valid community ID and no guests are permitted. Each attendee must scan their own community ID for entrance.
 
Children under the age of 16 must be under adult supervision when using the fitness center. 
 
Yoga classes are occasionally offered by an outside contractor. For schedule and payment information click here:  contact the instructor 
 
Indoor Pool and Hot Tub

Weekdays      4:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Weekends     10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
 
A valid POCA Community ID Card must be scanned. Residents only and guests need passes to enter.

Storage Lot
The Storage Lot consisting of 16 spaces is large enough to store boats, RVs and similar items. Please call the Community Center if you would like to be added to the waiting list.
 
 
Tennis Courts
There are four tennis courts available to residents. Two courts are lined for pickleball.
Courts are located next to the Community Center pond.
 
A valid POCA Community ID Card must be scanned to access the courts.
 
Tennis Courts are accessible from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Walking Trails
POCA is home to a forty-five (45) acre Nature Preserve which is protected land and dedicated green space within the community and open to all Anne Arundel County residents. The Nature Preserve encompasses natural walking paths which are refurbished from the chips off fallen trees within the community; thereby efficiently recycling from our own resources.

The Nature Preserve by design also incorporates several lakes and is home to many types of wildlife including multiple birdhouses.

 

Multipurpose Room (MPR)
 
The room can be rented by residents only, deposit required. Capacity of 45 people.

Rental of premises for commercial reasons and/or personal financial gain is not permitted.  Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
 

 

Tot Lots

POCA owns and maintains 5 tot lots throughout the community common areas

 

Farmers' Market

There is a weekly farmers' market every Wednesday from June - October 2:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. in the Community Center Parking Lot.

Local farmers are featured and they have a wide variety of vegetables and fruits.
