All changes, permanent or temporary, to the exterior appearance of a building or a lot, are subject to review and approval by the Piney Station Architectural Review Board. The review process is not limited to modifications, additions or alterations, such as adding a fence, room, deck or patio; it includes such minor items as changes in color and materials. Approval is also required when an existing item is to be removed or replaced.

Detailed architectural guidelines are provided in the approved Supplemental Guidelines published by Piney Orchard. These draft PSHOA Supplemental Guidelines are posted as discussed at the April 2005 Board Meeting and approved on 8 May 2005.

To make architectural changes to your residence, you must submit a Design Review Application to the following:
