Pools




Indoor lap pool and whirlpool (inside Community Center) and three outdoor pools with bathhouses featuring locker rooms and showers.

Indoor pool:

Winter hours (Start Tuesday after Labor Day)

              Monday - Friday                   3:00pm - 9:00pm;
              Saturday/Sunday                 10:00am - 9:00pm;

Summer hours (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day)

               Daily                                    5:00pm - 8:30pm

The Outdoor Pool Schedule

Island Pool hours: 10:00 a.m. - 8 :00 p.m.  May 26th - June 30/August 16 - September 3rd

The Island Pool will extend it's hours 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. July 1 - August 15

Must be a Piney Orchard resident to attend. 



Have a child that is an experienced swimmer? Piney Orchard has a summer swim team just for them! The team practices from the day after Anne Arundel County Schools get out until the end of July with swim meets on Saturdays in between. Pool rules:
Effective July 1, 2009
Health & Safety, Rule #2

Infants/children who are not toilet trained and adults who are incontinent, who wish to enter any pool, must wear a clean diaper or a disposable swim diaper covered by separate rubber/vinyl pants, all of which must fit snugly around the legs and waist. If the diaper becomes soiled, this person must leave the pool immediately, and may not return until he/she has taken or been given a soap shower and has recovered a new diaper with clean rubber/vinyl pants.
